1. EXFOLIATE YOUR SKIN
Exfoliate your entire body 24 hours before your appointment to remove any dry or dead skin cells.
• Focus on rough areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and wrists.
• Use a gentle exfoliating scrub or mitt — avoid oil-based products, as they can create a barrier.

2. SHAVE OR WAX IN ADVANCE
If you need to shave or wax, do it at least 24 hours before your spray tan.
This gives your pores time to close and prevents the tan from settling unevenly.

3. AVOID LOTIONS, OILS & MAKEUP
On the day of your appointment, come with clean, dry skin — no lotions, oils, deodorant, or perfume.
These products can block the tanning solution and cause streaks or patches.

4. WHAT TO WEAR
Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing after your tan. Avoid tight waistbands, bras, or anything that could rub against your skin while the tan develops. Bring thongs or loose sandals if possible.

5. PLAN YOUR TIMING
It’s best to schedule your tan 1–2 days before any big event to allow the colour to fully develop and settle.

6. TAN PROCESSING TIMES & FIRST RINSE
Our spray tans have a 1–2 hour processing time, depending on your desired depth of colour.
After your chosen time, take a quick rinse shower using only water — no soap or body products — and gently rinse until the water runs clear.

Once you’ve rinsed, pat your skin dry, put your loose clothing back on, and allow your tan to continue developing over the next 12 hours. Your final colour will appear after your 2nd shower, leaving you with a beautiful, natural-looking glow.

7. BE MINDFUL OF SKIN PRODUCTS
If you use skincare products containing retinols, acids, or exfoliants, these can cause your tan to fade faster — ask your technician for aftercare tips. Use alot of moisture to keep your tan nourished and longer lasting.
